Plenty to Explore

There are several original ranch buildings on the property that can be explored. The museum tells the story of Texas John Slaughter, a former Cochise County Sheriff and rancher. The San Bernardino Ranch was huge and straddled both sides of the border. When you visit, you get a sense of what life was like in this rugged part of the Southwest in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
